Terry Bradshaw is a former American professional footballer who played in the National Football League. He has also served as a television sports analyst and co-host of Fox NFL Sunday. In fact, he is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.

Terry was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to William Marvin Bradshaw and Novis Gay. He then lived with his family members in Camanche, Lowa, where he developed an interest in playing football.

As a teenager, Terry returned to his birthplace alongside his parents. While there, he joined Woodland High School, playing under assistant coach A. L. Williams. Under his stewardship, the team went for the AAA state championship game in 1965. However, they lost 12-9 to the Sulphur Golden Tornadoes.

In the same team, Woodland, Bradshaw set a national record for throwing the javelin at 245 feet (approx 75 m). This won him a spot in the Sports Illustrated feature, Face In The Crowd.

After joining college at Louisiana Tech University in 1966, Terry shook media waves on account of his reputation as a seasoned footballer from Shreveport. He was second on the depth chart behind Phil “Roxie” Robertson. Robertson was a year ahead of him and always played a starter for the 1966 and 1967 seasons.

In 1969, Terry was named by most professional clubs as the most outstanding college footballer in the nation. In fact, at his junior level, he collectively covered 2,890 yards, ranking number one in the NCAA. Furthermore, he led his team to a 33-13 and 9-2 record win over Akron in the Rice Bowl.

At his senior level, he gained 2314 yards, rising to number three in the NCAA. He graduated owning virtually all Louisiana Tech College passing records at that moment. Later in 1984, Bradshaw was included in the Louisiana sports hall of fame. Moreover, four years later, he inclined into the State of Louisiana Sports hall of fame.

After playing for several years for Steelers, Terry retired from football on July 24, 1984.

Since 1994, Terry has been working as a television sports analyst as well as the co-host of Fox NFL Sunday.
