Terry Mcfadden Biography
Terry Mcfadden is an award-winning American television journalist currently working as the co-anchor of the early evening and late edition of 16 News Now.
Mcfadden is a native of South Bend and he graduated from Saint Joseph’s Grade School and Saint Joseph’s High School. In addition, Terry graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in communications from the University of Notre Dame.
Terry’s broadcasting career kicked off as a news and sports reporter with WNDU-TV in 1982. His street-smart, matter-of-fact technique of reporting immediately made him one of Michigan’s preferred television journalists.
Moreover, Mcfadden has won multiple first-place awards for broadcast journalism from the Indiana Associated Press as well as the Indiana Society of Professional Journalists. Additionally, he was the recipient of the RTNDA’s prestigious Edward R. Murrow award.
Terry is also a sports fan. One of his memorable times is when he went to the decisive final round of the 1984 World Series with his dad and siblings in Detroit.
