Trisha Hendricks Biography
Trisha Hendricks is an American reporter/multi-skilled journalist currently working for 12 News. She joined the network in 2009. She was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona.
Trisha joined the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, where she graduated with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor in communication. While at college, she interned with three Phoenix television stations and volunteered her time working on-air for a nonprofit radio station for the blind.
Hendricks started her reporting career in northwestern Montana in 2006 at KPAX-TV. She worked out of the Kalispell bureau and covered the Flathead Valley. Similarly, in 2007, she was promoted to the main station in Missoula to anchor the weekend shows and also to report during the week.
In addition, after two years, she was hired at 12 News in Phoenix as a multimedia journalist/planner/producer and fill-in traffic anchor. At that time, Trisha covered a wide range of stories including the largest wildfire in Arizona State history – the Wallow fire in eastern Arizona as well as Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords shooting in Tucson. Currently, she works as a reporter/multimedia journalist for 12 News.

Hendricks was also promoted to cover northern Arizona as a general assignment reporter and multimedia journalist in the fall of 2011. After working for two years out of the Flagstaff bureau, Trisha was promoted to report for 12 News out of the main station in Phoenix, where she has lately been stationed.
Furthermore, in her career, her work has contributed to winning various Emmys for 12 News. Similarly, she has also been nominated for an Emmy for her work producing, editing, shooting, and reporting on her Explore Arizona series. Moreover, she traveled across the state bringing viewers an up-close and personal look at the unique adventures the Grand Canyon state has to offer.
Throughout her career, Hendricks has had the privilege to meet many politicians and celebrities.
She has also covered thousands of tales that have an influence on people’s lives. Her experiences are mostly heartbreaking, such as the Yarnell Hill Fire, which claimed the lives of 19 Granite Mountain hotshots. Her favorite stories are those that motivate and encourage others.
