Ellina Abovian is an American journalist who is currently serving as a general assignment reporter for KTLA 5 News in Los Angeles, California since July 2015. After college, Ellina worked for CBS Television and LA2DAY.com in the fields of production, marketing, and online publishing.
She has earned a degree in broadcasting journalism from California State University, Los Angeles. After graduating from college, she served at CBS Television and LA2DAY.com in marketing, production, and online publishing.
In addition to being in front of the camera, the eventual move from the Los Angeles market brought Ellina to San Luis Obispo to work as a ‘one-man-band journalist, where she filmed, wrote, and edited her own stories.
