Poppy Carver Biography
Poppy Cover is the daughter of Katty Kay, a renowned BBC journalist, author, and broadcaster. Her father is Tom Carver, an ex-BBC foreign correspondent. Poppy basically came to the limelight through her parent’s prominence, thus becoming a celebrity kid.
Poppy’s father is an ex-employee of BBC where he used to serve as a foreign correspondent for the television channel. In his career, Tom has covered many war reporters globally for BBC. Later on, he resigned and is now the senior vice-president of Control Risk Group.
On the other hand, Poppy’s mother Katty is a seasoned author on top of her journalism career. She has authored books and used to also write for several prime magazines and newspapers.

Poppy Carver Family | Siblings
Poppy’s paternal great-grandmother was Elizabeth Carver while her paternal grandfather was Oswald Carver, an Olympic oarsman who had taken part in the 1908 Summer Olympics which were held in London.
However, in 1916, Oswald was killed during the Battle of Gallipoli at the age of 28. Elizabeth then remarried his second paternal grandfather Bernard Montgomery who was a field marshall during World War II.
Poppy’s maternal grandfather was a British diplomat and that saw him get posted in various Middle East countries. Subsequently, Katty Kay studied in various schools there and later studied in Oxford at St. Hilda’s. She earned her BA and learned modern languages (French and Italian).
Poppy has three siblings namely Maya Carver, Jade Carver, and Felix Carver. The children have been brought up together.
