Erielle Reshef Biography
Erielle Reshef is a veteran American journalist currently working as a news correspondent for ABC News based in New York. She contributed to various ABC News programs such as World News Tonight, ABC News Live, Good Morning America, and Nightline. Reshef started her journalism career at IBA English News “Israel Channel 1 TV” as an anchor in June 2010.
Erielle attended Westminister School, Simsbury, after which she graduated with a double major in Political Science and Jewish Studies from Indiana University.
In November 2012, Erielle left IBA English News and joined Hearst Television in Oklahoma City as a weekend evening anchor till November 2014. She then joined as a morning news anchor on Hearst Television and filled her post till August 2016 in KOCO 5 News. At the station, she co-anchored the 5, 6, and 10 pm newscasts Friday and Saturday.
Some of her notable coverages while in Oklahoma include the Oklahoma City Bombing anniversary, the Moore Tornado recovery, Boston Marathon Bombings, the Washington DC police chase and shooting, and other local, national, and international headlines of the day.
In Pril 2017, Erielle joined ABC News as a correspondent based in New York City. She appears on Good Morning America, World News Tonight, Nightline, and ABC News Live, among other ABC News programs.
She has given live coverage of breaking news such as the Covid 19 Pandemic’s start, psychological and economic effect, counterfeit masks and PPE shortages, as well as the first Covid-19 vaccine to be delivered.
