Cheryl Burke is an American dancer, model, and television host. Burke is popular for being a professional dancer on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Prior, she was the first female professional to win the show twice consecutively. Born and raised in San Fransisco, California, United States.
Cheryl attended a traditional primary school and then graduated from ‘Menlo-Atherton High School’ in 2002. Burke began her ballet training at the age of 4. However, after a few years, her mother realized that Burke was not interested in ballet anymore. Thus, she took her to a ballroom completion when she was 10. Burke was amazed after watching the dance form and decided to learn it. At an age of 13 years old, she started participating in international ballroom dance competitions.
Burke was discovered by an ABC talent agency while competing in a contest in 2005 alongside her ex-boyfriend Jose DeCamps. On September 8, 2021, it was announced that Burke would be partnered with Cody Rigsby for the 30th season of DWTS.
