Peter Bergen is an American journalist, author, and producer. He works as a national security analyst at CNN. He is the vice president of ‘New America’. In addition, he is a professor of practice at Arizona State University.
In 1997, Bergen produced the first television interview with Osama bin Laden. The interview, which aired on CNN, marked the first time that bin Laden declared war against the United States to a Western audience. Moreover, three of the books that he has authored were New York Times bestsellers.
