Aaron Gilchrist is a renowned American anchor currently working at NBC News 4 Today, the #1 morning newscast in Washington, alongside Eun Yang. He joined the station in 2010. He appears on-air in the middle of the night, as well as at 4:00 every morning. Before joining News 4 Today, Gilchrist worked for WWBT News for eleven years.
Gilchrist joined News4 in March 2010 as a weekend morning anchor and general assignment reporter. However, in April 2012, he moved to weekday mornings. He continues to provide special reports on News4 broadcasts and hosts the station’s special shows. In addition, he has been honored with two Emmys.
Prior to coming to Washington, Gilchrist spent 11 years in his hometown of Richmond at WWBT, NBC’s affiliate. He started working there as a desk assistant and had his way up to morning anchor.
