Adam Olivier Biography
Adam Olivier is a veteran American meteorologist who currently works for Fox 15 News as a weathercaster. Olivier has always loved the weather since he was young growing up in New Orleans.
During many tropical storms and hurricanes, Adam would pretend that he was a Weather Channel meteorologist and “report” on the storm from his backyard. He started his career in broadcast meteorology as an intern at a local television station in New Orleans, his hometown while he was still in high school.
Adam also had other internships and has experienced severe types of weather as well as hurricanes. Olivier’s interest in weather mostly came from the Hurricanes Georges, Ivan, and Katrina leading to his love for the weather.
Adam attended the University of South Alabama for Meteorology and earned his bachelor of science degree in meteorology. At the University, Olivier earned his bachelor of science degree in meteorology with University Honors in 2016.

Before he joined Fox 10 News, Olivier interned at WVUE-TV Fox 8 New Orleans, and WPMI Local 15 News Mobile, AL. In addition, Adam has been a USA Atmoscenter-Student Meteorologist, a Southeast Coastal and Atmospheric Processes Symposium (SeCAPS) Registration Coordinator. He also anchored the on-campus news station called Jag TV, a Volunteer Student Research Assistant, and lastly worked in the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas
Adam joined Fox 10 News weather team in Mobile, Alabama, in June 2016. He spent three years at the Gulf Coast covering numerous hurricanes, including Hurricane Michael in 2018, tornadoes, and winter storms. Moreover, Olivier was a storm chaser for the station and would go report on the aftermath of big weather events including the 2016 Flood here in Louisiana.
When he is not working, you can find Adam cheering on South Alabama, LSU, and the Saints. He is also an avid soccer fan, especially when the World Cup rolls around every four years.
