Alexa Green is an American journalist who is currently the morning reporter for FOX59 and CBS 4 in Indianapolis. She joined the station in June 2017 and is thrilled to be in the Hoosier state covering your favorite stories. The Jersey native is a proud graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Prior to moving to Indiana, Alexa was a reporter for Spectrum News in Binghamton & Syracuse New York, covering stories in some of the Snowiest cities in the country.
When she was not outside reporting on the snow, Green broke dozens of stories and landed exclusive interviews, including one with prison escapee David Sweat’s mother, speaking with her just hours after her son was captured alive. Alexa is also an AP-award-winning reporter for her stories on a fatal fire that consumed two young children and the tragic murder of a 21-month-old.
When Alexa is not at work, you can find her running, reading, and trying out new restaurants around her area.
