Alfie Allen Biography
Alfie Allen is an English actor who is famous for portraying Theone Greyjoy on all eight seasons of Game of Thrones (2011-2019). For this role, he received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2019. In the film, Allen is famous for his starring roles in John Wick (2014), The Predator( 2018), and Jojo Rabbit (2019).
Born in Hammersmith, London, he attended and graduated from Windlesham House School in Sussex. He also attended St John’s College in Portsmouth, and the Fine Arts College in Hampstead, where he studied for his A-levels.
His first professional appearance was in a one-off Channel 4 comedy, You Are Here in 1998. In the same year, together with his sister Lily, they appeared in the 1998 film Elizabeth produced by their mother. His early work includes roles in Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London which was directed by his uncle.
In April 2009, he co-starred with then-partner Jamie Winstone in the music video for “Dust Devil” by Madness. Allen continued to work in films appearing in Soulboy, The Kid, Freestyle, and Power in 2010. He went on to star in the 2012 British thriller Confine, and in 2014 he starred beside Keanu Reeves in John Wick (2014).
In 2018, he co-starred in the sci-fi sequel The Predator as Lynch. In 2020, he appeared as Brett Collins in the ITV crime drama White House Farm. He made his Broadway debut in 2022 when he took over of Mooney from Dan Stevens in Martin McDonagh’s Hangmen at John Golden Theatre. He starred as Jock Lewes in One World War II miniseries SAS: Rouge Heroes (2022).
