Alicia Roberts is an emmy award-winning American broadcast journalist currently serving as a news anchor and reporter for CBS KYW-TV Philadelphia since December 2020. She joined CBS after completing her tenure as a news anchor for WGCL CBS 46 News from 2017 to 2020. Alicia even gained more experience and attention from the public for working as a correspondent for the Comcast Sports Network based in Chicago, Illinois from 2013 to 2016.
Roberts was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. She grew up as a very inquisitive child who developed a passion for journalism at a very young age. Roberts also grew up as the middle child in her family. She was able to finish her high school education at a private academy based in Georgia. From there, Roberts applied for a degree in Journalism from Temple University. She then graduated with her Master of Science Degree in Public Communication from Drexel University back in 2005. in addition, she began working as a member of the Board of Directors of the Miss Philadelphia organization in 2003 while she was in college.

In 2016, Roberst left Chicago and moved back home to work as a news anchor for WGCL CBS 46. She also appeared as the main sideline reporter for the Atlanta Skyhawks while she was working as a CBS Atlanta anchor. During her tenure at CBS 46, Alicia spent four years covering political updates, sports-related events and other general news stories. She left CBS 46 News in 2000 and joined CBS Philadelphia as a full-time reporter.
