Amanda Holly is an American meteorologist, weather reporter, and forecaster who has worked as a meteorologist for WFLA News Channel 8 since June 2019. For the previous four years, she worked for the Florida Public Radio Emergency Network and the University of Florida Weather Centrum in Gainesville, Florida.

“While the tornadoes’ ferocity is frightening, the science underlying their preparation is fascinating,” she once said. “It was breathtaking enough to watch the storms form and mature, but seeing the tornadoes on the field was unforgettable.”
Holly is an NAUI-certified SCUBA instructor who is also certified in a variety of other technologies such as cave, advanced nitrox, and decompression diving. She, too, is a space enthusiast who is overjoyed to be so close to the Space Coast, especially now that as launches become frequent.
