Antony Robart is a Canadian journalist who is a veteran reporter and video journalist currently working as an anchor of Global News Morning Toronto. Having worked with Global News for more than seven years, he has covered several major local and international stories.
Born in Halifax, Antony attended and graduated from McGill University in Montreal before moving to Washington, D.C. There he studies at American Univerity and later began his career in this very state. He began his career at ABC News Washington Bureau, working alongside White House Correspondent Sam Donaldson. Later on, he moved to Toronto where he joined CBS News working his way up from Editorial Assistant to reporter and video journalist.
After some time, he moved to France where he worked as a reporter with Radio France International and as a producer and videographer with CNBC Europe. In 2004, he moved back home and became a reporter and anchor for Global Toronto, before landing a position as Global News 11 anchor.
