She joined the station after completing her five years tenure as a multimedia journalist for WLTX News in Columbia, South Carolina. At WPTV. Ashleigh has been known for delivering impactful news stories like Hurricane Issacc’s terror in New Orleans and the $1 million billion damage scandal.
Walters is a Denver, Colorado native who grew up as a very clever kid who knew she wanted to be a journalist from a very young age. She finished her high school education at a public Scholl in her hometown. From there, Walters received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast News from the University of Colorado. She then returned back to Colorado and earned her Business Administration degree.
