Ashnikko Biography
Ashnikko (born Ashton Nicole Casey) is a famous American Singer and rapper who rose to prominence with her 2019 single “Stupid” with Baby Tate. The song gained viral popularity on the video-sharing platform TikTok and was certified gold in the United States and Canada. Her debut mixtape, Demidevil, was released on January 15, 2021.
Born in Oak Ridge, North California, she became interested in music at a very young age. Her parents also played a major role in her starts. They exposed her to country music and Slipknot. At the age of 10, she happened to listen to Arular by M.I.A. and was instantly interested in rap music. She states that she never listened to male artists until she was about 16 years old.
Her family moved to Estonia but when she was 18 she moved to London by herself. Her first song was Krokodil which was produced by Raf Riley and published on SoundCloud in July 2016. Ashnikko released her first EP, Sass Pancakes in 2017 which was produced by Raf Riley and details appearances from Avelino.
For the next two years, she produced her second and third EP, Unlikeable and Hi It’s Me in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Later on, she even co-wrote the song “Boss Bitch” with Dija Cat, and the track was included in the film Birds of Pray. In March 2020, she released the standalone single, “Tantrum” and later that month she performed it live as part of The Fader’s Digital Fader Fort event.
Her debut mixtape Demidevil was released on January 15, 2021. She recently co-wrote the song “Frost” released on May 31, 2021, which figures in the Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together.
