Ben Hill is an Emmy award-winning American Journalist well known for serving as the morning news anchor for NewsChannel 5 based in Nashville, Tennesee. Prior to his work on NewsChannel 5, he worked as the morning news anchor and reporter for an NBC affiliate called WTHR News in Indiana from 2016 to 2020. In 2013, Ben spent several years serving as a correspondent for FOX News Carolina until his official departure from the station.
Hill was born and brought up by a working-class native American family living in Kentucky, USA. He grew up as a smart kid who showed his interest in broadcasting from a young age. Ben finished his middle school and high school studies in his hometown Kentucky. He scored a good GPA and landed a spot at Western Kentucky University. Eventually, he graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science.
Hill made his first broadcasting debut by appearing as a news anchor for WVLA News in Louisiana. He then left the station to work for NBC KETK News in Texas after Spending one year at WVLA. AT KETK News, Ben made a name for himself by reporting various news stories and weather reports. He even provided live field reporting from various parts of Texas and the United States.
In 2013, Hill then joined FOX News Carolina where he anchored the morning news from 04 am to 7 am. His dedication and hard work made him popular among colleagues and viewers. Hill worked in South Carolina for almost three years before moving to Indiana.
