Bill Rohrer Biography
Bill Rohrer is an American Multi-Media journalist and reporter who is currently working for FOX29 since 2006. As a feature journalist, Rohrer writes, shoots, and edits segments that feature some of the most heartwarming stories in Philadelphia. Following his education, he attended Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA. Moreover, he attended Kutztown University where he graduated in 2001.
A member of the National Photographers Association, Bill started producing segments after attending the NPPA’s Advanced Storytelling in April 2014. Bill has news experience as a news photographer and as an editor.
Prior to joining FOX29, Bill worked for CN8 News where his career started as an editor. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards and nominations. He is a three-time Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award winner for best solo video journalist. Not long ago Bill won Emmy Awards for a reporter in the general assignment and news feature category.
His work has also earned him twelve Emmy Awards, as well as the best photographer and best editor. Bill won three Associated Press awards for the best photographer and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for investigative reporting. Currently, he is working at FOX29 where he works alongside other famous FOX29 anchors.
