Boyd Holbrook is an American actor made popular for playing the role of Donald Pierce in a popular American superhero movie titled Logan. He has also appeared in several films including Gone Girl, A Walk Among the Tombstone, Milk, and Out of the Furnace.
Holbrook is notable for his role as DEA Agent Steve Murphy in Netflix’s hit show Narcos. He also appeared in other television series including The Big C and The Unusuals. He has worked for David Armstrong as a photographer and sculptured and exhibited his work in his first art show called “Iscariot” at the Rare Gallery in Chelsea, New York.
Additionally, he appeared in David Fincher’s psychological thriller Gone Girl as Jeff in 2014. Also, he starred in the Netflix thriller film titled the Shadow of the Moon as Thomas Lockhart. He has also been cast in the untitled fifth Indiana Jones film and in the Netflix adaptation of The Sandman in January 2021.
For studies, he attended a local private high school in Prestonsburg. Later, he enrolled the Prestonsburg University in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, the United States where he later graduated. Additionally, his modeling career allowed him to fund his education in film at New York University.
