Elizabeth Jean “Busy” Philipps is a famous American actress from Oak Park, Illinois, who is known for her appearances in the TV classics Freaks and Geeks. She is also popular for her role in films like Dawson’s Creek, Cougar Town, ER, and, most recently, HBO’s Vice Principals. Philipps is also the winner of the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Cougar Town. Currently, she stars in the Peacock original series Girls5eva.
Phillips went to school at a local school in her hometown and became interested in acting when she was in fourth grade. From then she started starring in school productions. Busy also attends theater camp during her summer period. After graduating from high school she enrolled at Loyola Marymount University. While there in college, Busy got her first role to appear in a TV show alongside Linda Cardellini and Colin Hanks in the comedy-drama Freaks and Geeks.
