Candace McCowan Biography
Candace McCowan is an African-American journalist currently working for the Eyewitness News team as a reporter since joining WABC-TV in December 2016. Before joining ABC 7, Candace worked at WFLA, the NBC affiliate in Tampa, as a political reporter and anchor.
McCowan is a proud graduate of the University of Alabama where she graduated with a double major in political science and Broadcast Journalism.
During the battle for the country’s largest swing state, Candace interviewed now-President Donald J. Trump, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, and many others.
