Carolyn Arlene Peck is an American television sportscaster and former college basketball coach. Caroly is currently an analyst for ESPN and SEC Network’s women’s college basketball coverage. Peck is most popular as the main lead trainer and senior supervisor of the WNBA’s Orlando Marvel.

Carolyn was born and raised in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She attended school at Jefferson County High School in Dandridge, Tennessee, where she played basketball. After graduating from high school, Peck enrolled at Vanderbilt University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications in 1988. During her time there she also continued to play basketball scoring averaging 10.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Carolyn also blocked 180 shots, to break a Vanderbilt women’s basketball career record.

Soon after graduating from college, Carolyn got an offer to play professionally in Spain and work as a marketing consultant at a Nashville television station, as well as sell pharmaceutical products for a Fortune 500 company for two years. In 1991 Peck returned to basketball however quitting her job in Italy and Japan. In addition, she won her team the league championship in Japan. Through her time at Florida and at Orlando, Peck contributed game and studio analysis for ESPN’s coverage of the WNBA, women’s college basketball regular season, and the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship. Peck joined ESPN in 2001 and after five seasons as head coach at the University of Florida, where she orchestrated the greatest one-season turnaround in program history (2003-2004). Prior to taking the helm at Florida, Peck was the head coach of the former WNBA franchise Orlando Miracle for three seasons (1999-2001), a stint that included a trip to the 2000 WNBA playoffs.
