Carson Wentz is an American football quarterback for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League. He is one of only six QBs in NFL history to record 20-plus passing TDs and 10-or-fewer INTs in three straight seasons. Wentz played college football at North Dakota State, where he won five NCAA FCS national championships. Wentz was later selected second overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2016 NFL Draft, making him the FCS’s highest-drafted player.

He graduated from the North Dakota State University with a degree in health and physical education. At the University, Wentz was named the Academic All-American of the Year at the end of his college football career. He then signed in a four-year contract with the team. In his first week of professional football, Carson was officially named a starter and also the ‘Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week.’

Wentz was signed by the ‘Philadelphia Eagles’ in the first round of the 2016 ‘NFL Draft’ as the second overall pick. This was a four-year contract for $26.67 million-plus a $17.6 million bonus to play for the team. However, he suffered a rib injury in a pre-season game although he was still fit enough to play for the regular season that year.

Carson was then officially named a started and made his debut against the ‘Cleveland Browns’ in September 2016. He was further named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for the seventh week of the 2017 season and was a contender for the NFL’s Most Valuable Player. Unfortunately, Carson suffered a knee injury that kept him off the field for the rest of the season. He was also selected for his first ‘Pro Bowl’ but could not play due to knee surgery.

Currently, Carson is one of the most valuable players of the ‘Philadelphia Eagles.’ He has a bright future ahead of him considering that he is still young and energetic.
