Charlotte Huffman is an American investigative reporter who presently works for the ABC station News 8, WFAA-TV in Dallas, Texas. Her articles can be seen on WFAA’s 10 p.m. news.
Huffman was born and raised in Oklahoma City, and she earned journalism and Spanish degree from Southern Methodist University. She began her work as a reporter at KFDX in Wichita Falls, Texas, shortly after graduation in 2007. Charlotte worked for KFDX for a year before moving on to KETK to work as a reporter. She covered stories like uncovering an illicit gambling operation in a series of undercover reports while she was there. Charlotte also worked for KYW/CBS Philadelphia as an investigative reporter from 2013 to 2015.

Huffman’s investigation revealed that the water had unsafe levels of cancer-causing chemicals and that state environmental regulators were aware of the problem for years but never bothered to pick up the phone and warn anyone.
