Chelsea Helms Biography
Chelsea Helms is an American journalist who is currently working as the main evening co-anchor at KNWA. She joined the station in July of 2020. Prior to joining this station, she worked at KREX 5/FOX4 News, where she started off as a multimedia journalist and worked her way up to the main evening anchor.
This award-winning journalist attended North Country Community College. There, she earned an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences and general studies and humanities. Later on, she graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) earning a broadcast journalism degree in 2015.
Still working for KNWA/FOX 24, Helms worked as a producer for KFQR from December 2016 to December 2017. She, however, left the station in August 2017. Moreover, she worked for Texas Roadhouse as a key holder from May 2014 to July 2015. Nonetheless, she has worked for Martz Communication Group as a sales representative. She is currently working for KNWA/FOX 24 as the evening main anchor since joining the station in October 2018.
