Previously, she worked as a full-time news reporter and news anchor at WPRI News in Providence Rhode Island from 2020 to 2023. Chelsea also gained for working as a news intern for the Fox television Stations based in Washington D.C. She even worked as a freelance writer for Pulsefeedz. com in 2016.
Jones was born and brought up in Dallas, Texas. She finished her high school education at Justin F. Kimball High School based in her hometown. After high school, Jones worked as a middle school teacher until she joined the University of Maryland in 2013. She then graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the university through a Young Scholars Program in 2016.
