Chris Gloninger is an American meteorologist who is the current NBC Universal Meteorologist and joined NBC10 in June 2016. Gloninger received a bachelor’s degree in meteorology at “Plymouth State University”.
While in college, he worked two internships-one at the National Weather Service in New York and then at WABC in New York. He also worked at WISN where he won an Emmy and several “Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Awards” for his winter storm coverage.
After graduating, his career began at WHEC and he also taught Intro to Meteorology at Monroe Community College. He joins NECN from WISN ABC 12 in Milwaukee, where he is a weekend evening meteorologist and reporter.
