Christian De La Rosa is an American journalist currently serving as a news reporter and fill-in anchor at WPLG Local 10 News in Miami, Florida. La Rosa joined WPLG in April 2017 from WGCL, CBS46 where he worked as a news reporter for 6 years.
Christian grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and attended La La Universidad de Puerto Rico, where he studied labor law. He later graduated from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in radio and television journalism.
During his final college year, Christian landed his first job as an anchor, reporter, and news producer at Public Broadcasting Service in Gainesville, Florida. After spending two years at the station, he joined WJHG-TV as a news reporter.
In October 2017, Christian joined Bright House Networks in Orlando, Florida where he served as an anchor and reporter for Central Florida News 13. After four years, Rosa decided to quit and focus on his news reporter and substitute anchor role at Tributed Broadcasting.
Eventually, he landed a new job at WGCL, CBS 46 as a news reporter where he works up to date. In April 2017, WPLG Local 10 News hired Christian as a news anchor and reporter based in Miami, a position he holds to date.
