Christina Fan is an American journalist who is currently working as a news reporter for WCBS/CBS News in New York City. She joined the station in 2019. Prior to this, she worked as a fill-in anchor and reporter at KFSN-TV, where she was once nominated for an Emmy award.
Fan also worked as a general assignment reporter for WOWK-TV before joining KFSN. At WOWK-TV, she covered some interesting stories including the WV water crisis, coal baron Don Blankenship’s trial, and anti-same-sex marriage clerk Kim Davis. Furthermore, she has worked as a co-news director, anchor, and reporter for Northwestern News Network in Evanston, Illinois.
During her time in Evanston, she was part of an Emmy-winning team for College Student Newscast in 2011. Recently, she covered the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on Asian Americans extensively, from the initial outbreak in Wuhan. Following the murder of George Floyd in 2020, she spent weeks covering the accompanying protests in New York City.
