Courtney Hadwin is an English singer and musician who rose to fame for competing in the 13th season of NBC’s America’s Got Talent from 2018 to 2019 and competed in the 2017 season of The Voice Kids United Kingdom. Hadwin also participated in singing competitions like Teen Star in Newcastle, England when she was a teenager. She even gained more fame by doing various covers in her new 2019 album called Cover Sessions released on all streaming platforms.
Hadwin was born and raised in the small town of Hesleden England, UK. She attended the Heslden Primary School and then proceeded to The Academy at Shotton Hall in Peterlee. Hadwin auditioned for AGT while she was studying at the Academy. Courtney also trained at Shotton Hall Theatre School and Kate Sirs School of Music.
Hadwin began performing as a singer in 2015 by competing in a TeenStar called Newcastle England. She sang Bob Dylan’s Make You Feel My Love in the competition and reached the finals. In 2018, Hadwin decided to audition for America’s Got Talent and received a Golden Buzzer from Howey Mendel. She made it to the top 50 and her audition at AGT elevated her to stardom.
