Daisy Fuentes is a Cuban-American actress, television host, comedian, and model who is widely known for her work as MTV’s first Latina VJ. Additionally, she is also known for being signed to MTV and MTV Latin America simultaneously and as the first Latina spokesperson for Revlon to be signed to a worldwide contract.
Moreover, she was hired to present the weather at WNJU-TV 47, the local affiliate of the Spanish-language TV network Telemundo. Later, she took a position at WXTV-TV 41 where she was a weather anchor and reporter for the evening news. While she was at MTV Fuentes was also a host of fashion and modeling series, House of Style, among other correspondent gigs.
