His love for construction started when he worked with his father at their family’s home. After earning his degree from the University of Arkansas, he moved to Gulfport for a medical sales job. His professional plans changed after Hurricane Katrina hit.

Very many houses were destructed and this rekindled his passion for construction. He defines his style as rustic. He believes that design should incorporate rustic elements. This is because it adds texture and warmth to every space.
