Dan Henry is an American five-time Emmy Award-winning weather forecaster currently working as the Chief Meteorologist for FOX 4 News in Dallas- Fort Worth Metropolitan Area, Texas since January 2003. He is well known for his coverage of weather and climate at both local and national levels. He has been leading the group of most talented weather forecasters around North Texas. Previously, he was working at the Techniques Development Lab.
Henry enrolled at Methactoln High School and later joined Penn State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. Nevertheless, he became a football fanatic. He completed a 3-semester internship at the National Weather Service still at Penn State that landed him a job as a research meteorologist onto his graduation.
After two years of processing numerical data, Dan was ready to make his Television attempt in a small station in Wilmington, North Carolina by sending a tape. Over the past 3 decades, Dan has observed everything concerning mother nature both hurricanes and heat waves, blizzards and ice storms, floods and hailstorms not leaving some few tornadoes.
