Dan Pearlman is an American journalist currently working as a correspondent reporter at WCMH-TV, NBC4 since June 2014. Before joining the station, Dan was a reporter at KJRH-TV working as a reporter.
Pearlman graduated from American University in 2005 with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in broadcast journalism and political science. He also attended Wyoming High School between 1997 – 2001.
Dan joined the NBC4 news team in June 2014 from KJEH-TV, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At KJEH-TV, Dan won a Heartland Regional Emmy Award for his coverage of a massive school fire in 2013. He was also one of the first reporters to arrive in the suburbs of Moore, to cover a deadly EF-5 tornado. Moreover, Pearlman spent five days reporting on the aftermath of the storm.
Since arriving in Central Ohio, Dan has covered some of the region’s most newsworthy events, including the 2014 Reynoldsburg teacher’s strike, the murders of eight relatives in Pike County, and the attack which left 13 people injured at The Ohio State University.
