Dani Beckstrom Biography
Dani Beckstrom is a well-known American meteorologist and has been working at KTNV Channel 13 since June 2019. Previously before joining KTNV, she served as a morning meteorologist at WFTX FOX 4, Fort Myers, Florida, where she covered hurricanes at our Scripps sister station. While in Florida, she gained a lot of experience with both tropical meteorology and severe weather.
Moreover, in September 2017, Dani played a major role in keeping southwest Florida safe and well-informed during Hurricane Ima on Marco Island. Before joining WFTX, Beckstrom worked for KIVI-TV, Boise, Idaho as a weather anchor on Good Morning Idaho for Today’s 6 and Fox 9 On Your Side from September 2014 to April 2016.
Furthermore, Dani was an anchor and reporter for KPVI News 6 from September 2013 to September 2014, and also at KBYU, Provo served as an anchor and reporter from September 2010 to April 2013. She was a sports anchor and reporter for the student-run newscast. Beckstrom served as an intern at NYI News, Lifestyle Department, in New York City from April 2012 to July 2013 while at college.
Dani attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in 2013. Later on, in 2015, she enrolled at Mississippi State University and graduated with a Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology.
