Danny DeVito Biography

Danny DeVito is an American actress, comedian, producer, and filmmaker. In the television series Taxi (1978–1983), which earned him the Golden Globe Award and the Emmy Award, he gained notoriety for his portrayal of the taxi dispatcher Louie De Palma. On the FX and FXX sitcoms It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2006–present), he plays Frank Reynolds.

In 2019, Perlman told interviewer Andy Cohen that she and DeVito had become better friends after their breakup than they had been in their final years as a couple.

He was educated at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he graduated in 1966.
