Darren Haynes is an American sports director for WUSA. He is also working as a sportscaster and an anchor. In 2017 after Brett Haber resigned, Haynes acquired his position.
Before joining WUSA, Darren worked as a sports anchor for SportsCenter for ESPN. He also anchored sports for Al Jazeera America in New York. Darren has also worked for WHDH in Boston for about one year. Darren used to work as a sideline reporter for Thursday Night Lights High School football show on KMYS.
For three years, he has worked for KGBT-TV in Harlingen, Texas. Before this, he had worked in Alpena, Michigan for WBKB-TV and WLAJ as a sports anchor and reporter. Darren attended Amity Regional High School in Woodbridge, Connecticut.
