Dawn Mitchell is a renowned American Emmy Award-winning journalist who is currently serving as a weekend sports anchor and weekday sports reporter at Fox 9 News in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Before he joined Fox 9 News, Dawn worked as a sideline reporter at Big Ten Network in Chicago, Illinois for a period of three years.
Dawn attended Boston College to pursue a degree in Communications. She later a graduate course in Speech Pathology through Boston College’s Lynch School of Education.
Mitchell started her career at NESN as an anchor for SportsDesk and also worked as an Emmy Award-winning studio host at Boston Bruins games. She also served as a sports reporter and anchor at WDJT-TV and CLTV and covered sideline Vikings reporting at NFL on Fox.
Dawn has also worked as a sports anchor and reporter at KMSP-TV in Minneapolis since 2004. In addition, she is a four times Emmy Award winner. Mitchell had the honor to cover five Super Bowls as well, and patiently waiting for the Vikings to be in one!
