Dawn Stevens is an American journalist who worked as a Morning anchor and reporter for KMSP FOX9 in Minnesota. She joined this station in September 2006 as a side reporter. Stevens was promoted to morning anchor in 2010. However, she announced her retirement from FOX9 broadcasting in March 2022. Her final on-air goodbye was on March 15, 2022.
She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communications. While undertaking her degree, she was a technical director at a local TV station in Lincoln. Immediately after graduating, she got her first job at KAAL-TV, in Austin, Minnesota.
She then worked as a weekend anchor at WISC in Madison from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, she joined KMSP as its nightside reporter. Later in 2010, she was promoted to the station’s morning anchor.
