Delia Goncalves is a Cape Verdean -American News Journalist currently working as a reporter at WUSA-TV, Channel 9 News in Washington since June 2010. Before joining the station, she previously worked as a fill-in anchor at WMAR-TV, ABC2 in Baltimore, Maryland.
She attended Emerson College, a private liberal arts college in Boston, and graduated in 1998. Delia was also a reporter at AT&T3 News/Comcast Cable for two years and a reporter at WGGB for a year. She has also spent four years in Baltimore with her career and was named Baltimore’s Best Reporter in 2009.
