Erica Lopez is an American broadcast journalist who gained fame for working as a news anchor and reporter for WBMA ABC 3340 and other Sinclair Broadcast stations based in Birmingham, Alabam Previously, she spent about three and a half years working as a traffic reporter and anchor for KUSA 9 News based in Denver Colorado. Lopez even gained more experience working as an intern for the Hearst Television network from 2013 to 2015.
Lopez was born and raised in the suburbs of Ohio, United States. She grew up as the only child to a lovely middle-class couple of Columbian and Italian Ethnicity. Growing up, Lopez was described as a very keen and attentive kid who enjoyed doing science experiments when she was in middle school. She finished her high school education in her hometown and joined Liberty University back in 2009. Lopez graduated from Liberty with her first-class major in Mass Communication. She was also an active athlete who earned her spot at liberty through a Division I Scholarship program.
