Erika Erickson is an American journalist who is currently working as a General Assignment Reporter and News Anchor at WJBK FOX 2 Detroit in Southfield, Michigan. Prior to joining her current station, she worked at WPBN TV 7 and 4, WGTU ABC 29 and 8 in Traverse City, Michigan. There, she worked as a reporter, producer, and anchor.
She attended and graduated from Plymouth-Canton High School. Later on, she joined Schoolcraft College in 2003 and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts in 2006. Erickson also attended Wayne State University in 2007 where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Broadcast Journalism in 2009.
In 2014, she appeared in the film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” as a reporter. She has worked at WTCM FM & NEWSTALK 580 as a radio host. Moreover, she has worked as a promotional and talent at ‘One Source Talent Modeling and Acting Agency.” This was for promotions and commercial work.
