Eva Pilgrim Biography
Eva Pilgrim is a South Korean-American journalist who is currently working as an ABC News correspondent and a weekend co-anchor for Good Morning America Weekend Edition. She joined ABC News in December 2015. Being a host and anchor, she hosted various ABC shows such as News Specials, This Week, GMA3: What You Need to know, and others.
Apart from all that, she also reported at various sports events and seminars. In addition, she has worked in various news channels and came to the spotlight after revealing her pregnancy news on Good Morning America in July 2021.
Following her education, she received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communication in 2004. Eva was a member of the Carolina News team. Most notably, she joined Good Morning America in October 2018 as a weekend co-anchor replacing Paul Faris.
Prior to joining her current station, she worked as an anchor and reporter for 6ABC from 2012 until 2015 when she joined ABC. While at 6ABC, she covered the Amtrak derailment of Pope Francis’ visit to Philadelphia and also did some investigative work.
Eva began her career back in 2002 as a web producer at WIS-TV. However, she left the station in 2004 for the position of morning anchor and reporter at WVVA in Bluefield from 2004 to 2006. After leaving WVVA in 2006 she joined Fox Charlotte as a news reporter and anchor. She has also worked at WXIN-TV as an anchor.
