Fedmyster (better known by his alias Fedmyster) is a Mexican American Twitch streamer and YouTube personality. His real name is Federico Michael Gaytan. He is well known for his live streams on the Twitch platform, where he streams his gaming and IRL experiences. Moreover, Fedmyster is a former member of Offline TV, an online social entertainment group of content creators.
Gaytan worked as a full-time editor for the content creator and former Team Liquid pro player, Christian IWDominate Rivera. He ceased editing in June 2017 after being invited to join Offline. However, Gaytan has been banned by Twitch since he began streaming on several occasions. He was first banned on November 28, 2017, for jokingly manipulating a photo of cleavage on pictures of his roommates Pokimane and Lilypichu for a YouTube thumbnail. The ban lasted for 24 hours. Moreover, in May 2018, he was banned for showing a business card with personal information during the IRL stream, and the ban lasted for 3 days.
Moreover, Fedmyster announced on June 23, 2021, that he would be returning to streaming on Twitch, following his year-long hiatus and the sexual misconduct allegations. On his return to streaming, he addressed the allegations and apologized for his actions. Some viewers criticized his apology, claiming that his assessment and explanations of his own actions did not sound totally genuine or remorseful.
