Fletcher Mackel is an American journalist working as a sportscaster for WDSU-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is also the son of the longtime golf professional, Frank Mackel. Before he joined WDSU, he worked for KALB-TV in Alexandria for four years.
Additionally, he has covered the biggest sporting events in the history of Louisiana. This includes the Saints Super Bowl Championship which ranks no.1, but Fletcher was also on the field for LSU’S two BCS National Championships in football and the Tigers’ College World Series Championship.
