Frank Vascellaro is an American news anchor who has been working for WCCO since 2006. From Monday to Friday, Vascellaro co-anchors the 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m. news alongside his beloved wife, Amelia Santaniello. On June 29, 2006, the couple became the first married couple to co-anchor a daily news program.
Despite joining WCCO, Vascellaro worked at WAND-TV in Decatur, Illinois, and also at WHOI-TV in Peoria, serving as an anchor and reporter in the Twin Cities. She has been an anchor since 1996.
Moreover, the Society of Professional Journalists recognized him with its broadcast award for investigative reporting in 2008.
