Gabriel Luna is an American actor and producer. Luna is popular for his roles as Robbie Reyes / Ghost Rider on the ABC action superhero series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Apart from that he is seen in movies like Matador, Terminator: Dark Fate (2019), and The Last of Us (2023).
Luna was born and raised in Austin, Texas, United States. He attended St. Edward’s University in Austin, where he made his stage debut as Romeo in a production of Romeo and Juliet. In 2005, he graduated from St. Edward’s University. Shortly after graduation, he began his career as a film actor, debuting with director Mari Marchbanks’ debut film, Fall to Grace a family drama. In the drama, Luna played Kristofer Rostropovich, a young Russian who tries to find his way living under the strict surveillance of his angry father. Luna founded the theater company Paper Chairs, with which he became known for working in productions such as Orestes and Clov in Endgame. For his performance, he received the Austin Critics Table Best Lead Actor Award in 2010.
Prior, Gabriel starred as the lead character in the drama film Dance with the One as Nate Hitchins which premiered in March 2010. That same year, he rose to fame as the protagonist of the dramatic film Dance with the One by Michael Dolan. While working at the Matador, Luna co-starred in Andrew Disney’s film “Balls Out” (2014), which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. His next role was in the drama series True Detective where he played the role of Miguel Gilb, a former lover of Taylor Kitsch which was released in three episodes. Gabriel then co-starred in the Julianne Moore and Elliot Page-led drama film Freeheld, directed by Peter Sollett, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2015. A year later he played a border agent in the film Transpecos (2016) by Greg Kwedar.

In April 2018, he was cast as the villainous Rev-9 Terminator in Terminator: Dark Fate. Thereafter, Luna portrayed Tommy Miller in the HBO television adaptation of The Last of Us opposite Pedro Pascal.
