Mallory Factor Biography
Mallory Factor is an American Pharmaceutical executive, author and media contributor who gained fame as the founder and executive chairman of a biopharmaceutical company called IntraBIo. The company is currently based in Oxford, United Kingdom. Mallory also served as the John C. West Professor for International Politics and American Government at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He is also the co-author of two books titled Shadowboxes and Big Tent.
Factor was born and raised in Bridgeport Connecticut by a working-class family of caucasian descent. He grew up as a very introverted kid who had a passion for medicine at a very young age. Mallory finished and attended his high school studies in Connecticut. From there, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University. Later, he attended the Columbia Law School and a prestigious Business School based in New York.
Mallory founded IntraBio back in 2015 after completing all of his studies. His main objective in starting the business was and still is to commercialize novel treatments for rare and common neurodegenerative diseases. In 2017, the company launched plans for the multi-national pivotal trial for Niemann–Pick type C disease called acetylleucine.
The trial also provided effective treatment for, Tay–Sachs disease, and cerebellar ataxia subtypesThis particular move earned Mallory and his company attention from the media stations across the United States. Thus, boosting his fame and popularity. He appeared in various news programs such as BBC News while giving his medical analysis and contribution to society. In 2020, Factor launched his succesful multinational clinic trial results of the Niemman Pick Type C clinical trial of IntraBio and it was outstanding. Factor is still the current managing director and CEO of IntraBio to this day based in London, UK.
