Glenda Lewis is an American journalist who is currently working as a co-anchor of 7 Action News at WXYZ-TV where she anchors the 5 pm newscasts. She joined the station on September 1, 2003. When she joined she worked as a General Assignment Reporter and co-anchor of Action News Sunday at 6 and 11 pm.
Prior to joining her current station, she worked at WJRT-TV in Flint. There she worked as a co-anchor. She attended Michigan State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Marketing. Later on, she had post-graduate work at Specs Howard of Broadcasting.
Most notably, she began her career as a reporter and photographer at WBKB-TV in Alpena. After years of anchoring and reporting on different TV networks, she joined WXYZ-TV on September 1, 2003. She has also worked at WLNS-TV in Lansing where she worked as a reporter and anchor.
